Who Am I?
¿Quién soy yo?

I received my Ph.D. in Spanish from Yale University in 1980, and subsequently taught at Wittenberg University in Ohio, Albion College in Michigan, and Utah State University. I am now Professor Emeritus of Spanish at the latter institution, but also occasionally offer my services to other institutions as a part-time adjunct.

Although my main interest has always been Latin American literature and culture, I also develop computer applications for the language profession —as one can surmise from my publications. They will also show that, for the last several years, to do my part in helping to mitigate the climate crisis, I have becoming increasingly involved in advocating for electric vehicles and renewable energy in this world.

For those interested, I have posted on these web pages an online version of my curriculum vita: click on the sections at the left for more specifics.
