Sailing upwind at Bear Lake

There was a “high wind warning” posted at the Bear Lake Marina that day, and you can see that the air is rather hazy in the distance because of all the dust that was blowing across the lake from the shore. We were sailing on a close reach, with one reef in the main, and two furls in the lapper. If you watch closely toward the end of the clip, you’ll see me get a face full of spray. It was quite a ride!
