Hove-to for a swim on Pineview Reservoir

The wind doesn’t usually start blowing up Ogden Canyon over Pineview Reservoir until 1:00 or 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon. It gets pretty hot in July waiting for that breeze, so I decided to jump in the water and cool off. The best feature of our little Canon digital camera is its waterproof case, as you’ll see when I slip beneath the surface. My admiral was happy to just sit and watch from the cockpit: she should have never seen Jaws when she was younger!
